How it Tracks

BLE Unit

Low-energy Bluetooth sensor network creates a digital filed that tracks cart movement throughout the store and parking lot.

Inside or Outside the Store

Cartnet determines the cart’s location via Bluetooth. if the asset is out of Bluetooth range, Cartnet switches to GPS to determine location.

Outside the Geo-Fence

Once the asset has moved beyond the digital geo-fence, it will appear as a red dot. Location is determined by GPS fix.

What if there is no GPS signal available?

The unit will send its location to Cartnet using Geospatial data from nearby cell towers and WiFi nodes – within an average radius of 70 meters. Any nearby cell phone, tablet or router can keep location data fresh and help Cartnet locate your cart!

Our intuitive dashboard delivers real-time cart analytics and fleet management in one centralized interface. Monitor locations, view usage patterns, and access critical metrics through customizable widgets and interactive maps.

Bluetooth Zones

Monitor cart movements through designated store zones using Bluetooth beacons. Track shopping patterns, dwell times, and traffic flow to optimize store layout and reduce cart loss. Beacon zones provide real-time location data and trigger automated alerts when carts leave authorized areas.
